Will's Computer Support, LLC
I am a 1973 Chinook High School graduate. I enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and while serving, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska and a Master's degree in Computer Resource Management from Webster University. In 1994, I retired from the Air Force after nearly 21 years; I served 11 years as an enlisted Command & Control technician and 10 years as a commissioned computer/communications officer; all 21 years involved working with computer systems. My wife, Carol (the former Carol Harshman - also a Chinook '73 grad!), and I are happy to be back "home" in Chinook.
After retiring from the Air Force, I immediately went to work supporting computer systems for the Department of Defense's (DoD) Intelligence Data Handling System serving in the capacity as manager of configuration management, quality assurance, and software/system testing. After two years in the contracting world, I accepted employment for the telecommunications giant, MCI, Inc (now known as Verizon Business) where I worked on mid-range computers/systems (i.e., PCs and high-end servers), as a lead/manager of configuration management. I worked in this position for 12 years. I decided to return back to the DoD environment and worked at the Missile Defense Agency (Colorado Springs, Schriever Air Force Base) for a year as a technical analyst, then onto the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) division supporting the aircrew/support crew vetting system. I worked for TSA as a support contractor until 2010 when I decided it was time to come home.
After returning to Chinook, MT, I soon realized there was a community need for PC/computer systems support services. With over 40 years of computer systems experience, I decided to create "Will's Computer Support, LLC" to provide you with professional and courteous support of your PC and computer systems environment needs -- at reasonable rates! I know the importance of keeping your computer/computer systems running as healthy as possible and will do my best to help.
